Glums Game Studio was established in March 2002.

Glums Game Studio was originally founded by John Meck and a few graphics artists interested in making a medieval MMORPG game.

What began as a medieval MMORPG turned out to be much more as Glums developed one of the most powerful 2D MMORPG game engines in the Swordtek Engine.

Swordtek is used to power many MMORPG games including games for Sanctuary, Void of Doom, and more.

Besides licensing its MMORPG engine, Glums also creates MMORPG games.

As an indie game development studio, Glums believes 2D is the best format for MMORPGs and believes 2D will soon enter a renaissance. It just needs the right games to power it forward!

Currently, the games under development at Glums are a secret, but we plan to reveal details as soon as we are out of the alpha testing stage!

The only hints we're willing to provide for the time being is that we are creating two MMORPG games: a medieval and futuristic shooter game.

Be on the lookout! And, yes, the games will be in 2D and powered by our Swordtek Game Engine.
